Low interest rates and generally good company results, but business confidence remains low - and that's a drag on the stock market.

The company reporting season just concluded has produced generally positive results, with many upbeat forecasts for the next period. But - as Elio D'Amato, CEO of Lincoln Stock Doctor points out - surveys reporting low business confidence, coupled with continuing uncertainty overseas and the slowdown in resources exploration and development are contributing to a mood of caution among investors. But the results show there are good investments to be found, and Elio highlights a number of them.
