Sharemarket Update

Date: 01/12/2010

The market's rebounding, good buying opportunities are drying up - it's time for a disciplined approach

With the stockmarket now 50 percent above its low point during the GFC, it's becoming harder to find good stocks at prices below valuation, says Tim Lincoln, of Lincoln Stock Doctor. That puts even greater emphasis than usual on the virtue of discipline, to make the right stock selections, manage portfolios carefully and get the right long-term results. Tim says for those very same reasons, the savvy investor will begin a measured move towards cash as the market tends towards overheating. That will provide the wherewithal to pounce on good stocks when the inevitable correction occurs and prices fall again.
