Positive Psychology In The Workplace

Date: 08/06/2010

Sometimes we wait too long before a colleague or employee has a problem. Positive psychology in the workplace can help reduce an impending problem.

Professor Peter Dingle of Murdoch University preaches that positive psychology can improve workplace resilience and staff morale and can even help reduce stress. He believes that if we encourage employees to set short term goals they'll be more positive about themselves and their work. Too many employers, he says, concentrate on what staff can't do instead of what they can do.
