Don't duck the dreaded "pay rise" question from staff! Here are 4 "R's" to ease the conversation.

Many businesses owners dread the day employees ask for a pay rise. But Jason Furness, of Manufacturship, reminds us that the person asking the question may be just as terrified about raising the issue as you are about hearing it.

Pay rise discussions can't be ignored, Jason says. Rather than ducking the issue, he suggests following his four R's of reflect, review, roadmap and rapport.
