The sharemarket continues to suffer as nervous investors jump at every announcement. And stockmarket analyst Lincoln has evidence of that, following an exercise the company conducted on investor sentiment about carbon-producing stocks around the release of the Gillard Government's carbon tax. But CEO Elio D'Amato reminds us that there are positive economic signs out there, despite the uncertainties in the world.China's GDP is up, Italy and Greece have raised debt, and in Australia - despite the talk of a two-speed economy and a drop in confidence - debt levels are solid and inflation remains in check.
